Full Fat Things has been in existence for over 15 years. However, many of our team have known each other for far longer than that, either working together before or by being part of the open source community for decades.
When we hire, we hand-pick people who have contributed to open source projects to prove their passion for this kind of work, rather than just looking at their employment credentials.

Many of us started out as Drupal experts, developing high-performance Drupal websites and applications, as well as consulting and providing web experience management solutions. Now, though, we go much further than that.
Even though our origins lie in Drupal development, we always adopt whichever solution will best meet a client’s needs and only recommend Drupal when it is the right fit. Drupal’s sweet spot is where content, communities and commerce meet, and there has to be a strong content element for us to want to use Drupal. We have developers on the team who are very experienced in other software, such as Wagtail, Ruby on Rails, Ember and Laravel, so we don’t have to prise a solution out of something that isn’t right for the job.
Our team includes some of the key faces behind Drupal. We are diamond certified, which is more than just a badge; it is reassurance that we are the ones building Drupal, not just building on top of it.
We’re active members of key publishing communities, including the PPA, Press Gazette, and InPublishing, where we share insights and stay closely connected to the needs of digital publishers. By regularly speaking at webinars and attending industry events, we know the challenges publishers face and how best to support their digital growth.
